Visual Arts and Craft Makers Award (VACMA from East Lothian Council, Scotland)
Delighted to have been selected for the VACMA award enabling me to pursue digital techniques to aid my printmaking practice. This has never been more timely or as appreciated with other challenges competing for my attention.
Exhibition will be showing until mid March 2024.
I submitted the image ‘Shetland 1’ (Image with small white figure). This has been on show for almost 2 months but with the crossover of exhibition dates swapped it out for an older print (Image with red stitching) ‘My Kinda Scotland’.
The Luminate Conference was held in Perth, Scotland in November 2023.
I was invited to present the outcome of my bursary to Shetland.
Delightful train journey to Perth, crossing the Forth bridge and vistas of Fife on the way.
SeedSisters 4th collaborative show, this time alongside Ann Stephens in Monflanquin, France.
This exhibition gleaned lots of interest and sales from the local towns people and tourists alike.
Visitors were keen to learn more about the craftsmanship and inspiration behind the works exhibited.
Grateful to have been awarded some emergency funding by Visual Arts Scotland allowing me to maintain my studio and sanity.
